Recently, I was asked to share my thoughts concerning the value that a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) brings to a corporation or organization. When I thought about this, what came to mind was the standard of work that we all produce when assigned a project. You see, any time a CPT is assigned to a project, leadership knows they can expect a CPT to RSVP.

The New CPT Designation Standard Updates

In Washington, D.C., on September 4, 2013, the president of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), Lisa Toenniges, CPT, was on hand to announce the 2013 Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) Standard updates along with ISPI Executive Director April S. Davis and ISPI Director of Certification and Industry Relations Gay E. Bruhn, CPT, EdD. Joining them at the podium to speak on behalf of their CPT-related accomplishments were Diana Osinski, CPT, Vincent Araujo, CPT, and Donna Crisp, CPT. April Davis also announced the recent study ISPI participated in with i4cp, “The Performance Improvements in High-Performance Organizations,” and more exciting upcoming announcements for ISPI.
