Certified Performance Technologist Workshop in Indianapolis, Indiana

I attended the two-day Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) Workshop at THE Performance Improvement Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, this past April 12-13. This workshop is offered through ISPI and is designed to help learning and performance improvement professionals prepare to apply for the CPT certification. The workshop was taught by performance improvement legend Dr. Judy Hale.

Last month, I traveled with three of my colleagues to sunny Indianapolis for six days of learning at ISPI’s 2014 conference. The conference opened to the general members on Monday; however, we were busy all weekend! Becky Holden attended the CPT workshop, Lisa Lange went to the Principles and Practices of Performance Improvement workshop, and I delivered a Fundamentals of Performance presentation for ISPI leaders to get the word out about performance technology.

The ISPI Central Florida Chapter continues to grow its membership and community outreach to achieve the ISPI mission through the Society’s Guiding Principles. In January, the chapter enjoyed an inspiring presentation by Guy Wallace on his evidence-based and practice-proven Curriculum Architecture Design methodology. The feedback from the 47 attendees was superb.
