Last month, I traveled with three of my colleagues to sunny Indianapolis for six days of learning at ISPI’s 2014 conference. The conference opened to the general members on Monday; however, we were busy all weekend! Becky Holden attended the CPT workshop, Lisa Lange went to the Principles and Practices of Performance Improvement workshop, and I delivered a Fundamentals of Performance presentation for ISPI leaders to get the word out about performance technology.

With names like “Cracker Barrel,” “Lunch-n-Learn,” “Bagel Barrel,” and even “Chat-n-Chew,” ISPI conferences are known for their General Sessions where eating and learning go together like milk and cookies! Roundtables are an excellent way for participants to invest just 20 minutes, at three different tables of choice, and walk away with a functional understanding of a model, approach, concept, or tool that they can really use tomorrow. Attendees are invited to grab a complimentary sandwich and select a table.
