Dear ISPI Members,
The Nominations Committee has put forth two candidates for President-Elect. Both candidates had been vetted for the 2015 election process but, because of a change in the bylaws, the President-Elect election was postponed until 2016.
Each of the two candidates, Scott Casad, CPT, PhD, and Don Triner, CPT, has prepared Statements to Membership. We ask that you review the statements and be prepared to vote for one of the two candidates in an election that will begin on February 12, 2016.
The election will be held electronically, and current members will receive voting information via email. If you have any questions about the process, please do not hesitate to contact Rhonda Buckley (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Don Triner Statement to Membership:
As lifetime member and CPT, I am dedicated to the long-term success of ISPI through relevant research, value to members, and sound fiscal policy and execution. What follows is a list of what I feel the Society has to accomplish and how I think we could get there under my leadership.
Scott Casad Statement to Membership:
Our priority is the professional growth of our members. This includes mentoring emerging professionals, certifying mid-career practitioners, learning from seasoned consultants, and engaging our retired champions. Furthermore, we must remain committed to our evidence-based practice and integration of research.
