The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) announced the appointment of Andrea K. Moore, CPT, MBA, of Denver Colorado, to chair the Certification and Accreditation Governance Committee (CAGC).
The CAGC establishes the standards and procedures for ISPI’s Certified Performance Technologist; Certified School Improvement Specialist; and accreditation for services, products, and courses. The CAGC administers all matters related to ISPI certification and accreditation.
Andrea Moore is the 2013 recipient of ISPIs Distinguished Service Award presented at the 2013 ISPI Conference (April 14-17). Moore served on the ISPI Board of Directors from 2004 to 2006 and the International Conference Planning Committee from 1997 to 2003. She is the chair of the CACG Accreditation subcommittee overseeing the design and development of ISPI’s accreditation standards. With Proofpoint Systems, Inc., Moore received ISPI’s 2005 and 2011 Outstanding Human Performance Intervention award. In addition, she served as president of ISPI’s Front Range chapter in Denver, CO, from 2002 to 2004 and is currently vice president of membership. Moore recently published an article entitled “Working with Your Local School District: A Tale of Two Cities” (Performance Improvement Journal, 2011), describing her performance improvement experience in the Denver Public Schools (DPS). She also serves on the marketing committee of a DPS high school.
Moore is an accomplished consultant and adviser to private and public sector organizations. Her education includes a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. She has worked with an array of significant clients including the NASD, the NYSE, Corporate Express, the FDIC, and CitiGroup to improve the functions within their operations
