Submission Deadline: August 30, 2012

You’ve probably heard about THE Performance Improvement Conference, which is built around the sharing of great ideas. ISPI wants to hear your ideas to create a conference focused on what works in the field of performance improvement.

Contribute to the success of THE Performance Improvement Conference, April 14-17, 2013, in Reno, Nevada. The deadline to submit your proposal is August 30, 2012.

THE Performance Improvement Conference will focus on “What Works.” If you have performance tools, models, programs, case studies, or interventions designed to change paradigms that make things cheaper, faster, better, you’ll want to submit an educational proposal to present. Proposals for this conference should expand the horizons of the participants in your educational session by focusing on evidenced-based research, with tried and true methodology, featuring best practices and positive lessons learned in the context of successful performance improvement projects, cases studies, job aids, and performance tools.

The proposals solicited include 90-minute educational sessions, with special emphasis given to innovative and advanced sessions across the seven tracks of Analysis, Business of Human Performance Technology, Instructional Inventions, Measurement and Evaluation, Organizational Design Interventions, Process or Tool Interventions, and Research to Practice, and 20-minute roundtables, which will be presented three times during our scheduled Cracker Barrel-like Chat ‘n Chew. In addition, ISPI is also accepting submissions for one- and two-day pre-conference workshops.

As always, we are looking for new evidence-based research. This year, the proposals are not segmented by level (beginner, intermediate, advanced or other such naming conventions) but submitters are encouraged to address the concept of “Mega” in their proposal and special emphasis will be given to proposals that conform to the theme of “What Works.” Successful presentations will allow conference participants to leave a session with a product such as a performance tool, new methodology, job aid, etc. Remember, the theme for this conference and a significant part of the selection criteria will be “What Works.”
