ISPI is about to launch a Validation Study of the 10 Standards that form the basis of the CPT designation. Ten years ago, we initiated the CPT with 10 standards of Performance Improvement as the base for individuals to document that the work they do makes a difference in the workplace. It is time to determine if those 10 standards are still viable.

All ISPI members will be asked to complete an online survey during the month of July. Some members and interested external stakeholders will be interviewed or participate in a focus group beginning in July to closely examine the competencies necessary for today’s Performance Improvement professionals. Data will be collected on a worldwide basis. Your participation in the study will contribute to the advancement and vibrancy of the Performance Improvement profession.

We wanted to give you advance notice. Watch for the CPT Validation Survey in your in-box. -Please plan to participate. For more information, contact certification@ispi.org.
