We will continue the tradition of facilitating the Chapter Leaders Workshop (CLW) before THE Performance Improvement Conference 2011 in Orlando on Saturday, April 9, 2011, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. When making plans, consider some of the changes made to this year’s conference.

In the past, the CLW occurred the same day as the opening ceremony. Here is what is different:

  • Sunday will be a free all-day, research-to-practice event (for conference attendees).
  • Saturday is the only day for workshops: The CLW occurs then. This means that you would need to arrive a day earlier than usual to attend the CLW.
  • The regular conference sessions will be from Monday to Wednesday.
  • You can attend the CLW for free without attending the conference. You will need to register using the online conference form. Instead of selecting conference events, only select the CLW event.

What is the CLW?
Are you looking for ways to develop your Chapter members and build the capacity of your Chapter’s leadership? Raise the quality of your Chapter’s programs? Boost your Chapter’s level of operations? Then ISPI’s Chapter Leader’s Workshop is the place to start. Chapter leaders attending the conference are invited to participate in a full-day forum hosted by the Chapter Partnership Committee. Tools, resources, and best practices will help Chapter leaders address a wide range of opportunities every chapter encounters.

I hope that all chapter leaders will be able to attend this event. In the March PerformanceXpress, I will provide more information about what to expect for this year’s CLW.
